Bellwoods Centres for Community Living Inc. (“Bellwoods”) receives Grant through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF).
Bellwoods was delighted to receive a grant of $90,000 from the Community Services Recovery Fund. The fund is a collaboration between the Canadian Red Cross, Community Foundations of Canada, and United Way Canada to provide funding to Community Service Organizations including non-profit organizations, Indigenous Governing Bodies or Registered Charities located in Canada. This investment will help us undertake critical IT and security upgrades and installations to improve safety, and connectivity at our Dundas Street supportive housing site. These changes will result in:
- Enhanced safety for our clients & staff,
- Enhanced connectivity, flexibility, and mobility for our staff, and
- Better connectivity and improved network security tools for our organization.
The Community Services Recovery Fund is a one-time investment of $400 million that helps community service organizations (charities, non-profits, Indigenous governing bodies) adapt, modernize and be better equipped to improve the efficacy, accessibility and sustainability of the community services that they provide through the pandemic recovery and beyond.
