The MSSA supports coordination within the local health system and ensures public funding is managed effectively and responsibly.

Declaration of Compliance

Bellwoods submits an annual Declaration of Compliance under the MSSA. This declaration confirms that the organization has fulfilled its obligations under the agreement.

City Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) 

Financial Transparency

Bellwoods receives funding from a combination of public sources and community support.

Bellwoods also receives support through grants and charitable donations. These contributions help strengthen programs and expand services beyond core funded mandates.

PRIVACY & PROTECTION

Privacy & Personal Health Information

Bellwoods protects personal health information in accordance with PHIPA and follows privacy practices that support confidentiality and client rights.

Under PHIPA, Bellwoods:

✓ Protects information through safeguards
✓ Provides individuals with access to their records
✓ Responds to privacy concerns and complaints

All clients receive an information sheet outlining Bellwoods’ privacy practices.

Bellwoods is a Health Information Custodian under the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), 2004.

This means we are legally responsible for protecting the personal health information of applicants and clients.
