2023 marked 65 years of Bellwoods Centres for Community Living Inc. “fostering independent living through excellence and innovation” for adults with physical disabilities.
We are proud to share a short video – “Bellwoods at 65” produced by The Doc Department. The video reflects on the rich history of our organization and the many people who pioneered, fought, and worked hard to support and grow the independent living movement in Ontario. It also features perspectives on independent living from former and present clients and staff.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us over the decades. We will continue our work to build more capacity in supportive housing, attendant outreach services and transitional programs.
