As a Bellwoods volunteer, you get to bring your unique skills, energy and passion to make a real difference. Our volunteers help with everything from planning social events to visiting directly with clients. So whether you’re a confident conversationalist, to-do list tackler or behind-the-scenes star, there’s a place for you to make a difference at Bellwoods!
Volunteer Checklist
✓ 18 years of age or older
✓ Willing to complete Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) if required for your role
(Please note: the cost of the VSC is not covered by Bellwoods)
✓ Can commit to a consistent schedule for a minimum of 3 months
✓ Attend mandatory orientation and any necessary training sessions
✓ Demonstrate respect, reliability and commitment to our code of conduct
✓ Proficient in English; other languages considered an asset
