Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Rates Increased

As of July 1, 2026, the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) has increased by 1.9% to help keep pace with inflation. This annual adjustment applies to several areas of income support, including basic needs, shelter, board and lodging, and other eligible living arrangements.

The updated maximum monthly rates are shown in the graphic below.

It is important to remember that the amount someone receives through ODSP depends on their individual circumstances. Factors such as family size, housing arrangements, and other eligible benefits can affect a person’s monthly payment.

Why this matters

For many people with disabilities, ODSP provides essential financial support for everyday living expenses, including housing, food, and other basic needs. While annual inflation-based increases help address rising costs, many individuals continue to face financial challenges as the cost of living continues to increase.

At Bellwoods, we believe that access to clear, reliable information is an important part of supporting independence. Staying informed about available supports helps people make decisions and access the resources available to them.
