Innovating Independence
Established in 1957, Bellwoods Centres for Community Living Inc. (Bellwoods) is a charitable, not-for- profit organization providing community-based support services for people with physical disabilities to help them remain living independently in the community. Our personal support workers and Independent Living (IL) facilitators provide services to people 16 years of age or older. Services are provided to clients who reside at one of our many housing sites or through Attendant Outreach (AO) Services provided in the community to support persons with physical disabilities in their own homes, at school or place of employment. We also offer a short-term transition program – Community Connect – that helps individuals reintegrate back into the community following an illness or debilitating injury.

Accreditation: Accredited with Exemplary Standing
Bellwoods is proud to announce that it has attained the highest level of performance by being accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada. This is the third consecutive time Bellwoods has been awarded with this distinction.
It is the first time Bellwoods has met 100 per cent of all standards which includes all System-Wide standards and all Service Excellence standards. This crowning achievement illustrates the immense passion and strength within Bellwoods and authenticates our true potential in upholding the highest quality in all domains.
